2014, Durational performance
Documentation of an hour long intervention and performance that took place in the Sonoran Desert on January 10, 2014.
During this performance, a personal structure was built out of found materials in the desert (rocks, saguaro ribs, a fabric remnant). Then, the structure was left standing in the desert, in the hopes that someone else might come across and interact with it. This work was an investigation on ideas of home, ownership, and the things we leave behind.
